About
the Scott's L.A.™ Team:
We’re a small
business owned by two families that have been friends for more than 20
years.
Scott is co-founder, CEO and President of SCOTT’S
L.A.™, he’s the personality behind the microphone,
and he’s the source of knowledge that makes these tours possible.
His family has lived in the same Southern California neighborhood for
more than 100 years, his on-air radio experience spans 25 years, and he’s
had communication jobs in aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, government,
and education. Currently, he teaches radio production at Pasadena
City College.
Paul attended part of high school and college in Japan, graduated
from Occidental College in Los Angeles, lived in L.A. for more
than a decade. He is V.P. of Japan Publicity, Inc., as well as
President and founder of Whitney Arts, LLC, a consulting firm
he began in 1998 with his wife, Arolyn. Co-founder, CFO, and V.P. of SCOTT’S
L.A.™, Paul keeps us published online and in print while
telecommuting from his hometown of Portland, Oregon.
Matt, Scott’s son, has worked at Universal Studios
theme park, is currently a college student, and works part-time for a
Pasadena law firm. As Assistant Producer of SCOTT'S L.A.™,
he is extremely important in the editing of our audio tours. Using his
Universal Studios customer service experience, he is our Account
Executive responsible for point-of-sale locations in Southern California.
Arolyn, also an Occidental College graduate, is an accomplished
artist, jewelry designer, and Co-Owner and Proprietor of Soul
Creations Jewelry & Fine Arts Gallery in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Her small-business experience makes her the ideal Quality Control and
Operations Manager for SCOTT’S L.A.™. She
also brings the valuable asset of female perspective: what women find
important, ranging from shopping, food and entertainment, to specific
cultural locations and activities.
